5th Annual Jones Holiday Dinner in Sperry, Dec. 10

Dear Joneses:

We can confirm that the 5th Annual Jones Holiday Dinner will be held Saturday, December 10 in the Sperry UPC annex. We will start gathering at about 10:30 a.m. and go as long as you want to stay.. maybe 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. We will try to start serving food sometime between noon and 1 p.m. Donnie Marrs and I are furnishing two big smoked hams, cooked to perfection by national champion Buffalo’s Barbecue of Sperry. Other items needed are: alternate types of meat, covered dishes, veggie trays, potato dishes, desserts, salads, soft drinks and chips, as well as paper plates, napkins and plastic ware, etc. There will be no charge for anything, however we will accept a small donation from each family for the church to cover utilities, ice, coffee, etc. As in the past, optional dress code will be pioneer, Quaker, farm or cowboy/cowgirl. Hopefully you and yours can make it, but we understand that the holiday season can be a very busy one for each of you.

P.S. Please email me an estimate of the number of your family members who might be attending the dinner. We are encouraging everyone to bring and share photographs, as always.

Happy Early Thanksgiving from Larry and Donnie.
